Terms

Last updated October 2026

By using Wayfellow you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

Drive safely

Wayfellow is a planning and coordination tool, not a navigation system. Drivers should not use it while driving; let a passenger handle it. Always follow road signs, closures and local laws.

Not an emergency service

This app isn't an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first. The "Need help" button only sends a message to your trip's crew; we can't promise that anyone will see it or respond, or that it will arrive without a connection.

Guests and photos

Guests agree to these terms too. Only upload photos you have the right to share, and don't upload photos of people who'd object. The trip owner can remove any guest or photo.

Check AI suggestions

Plans, times, parking tips, road conditions and opening hours suggested by AI or calculated by routing can be wrong or out of date. Confirm places, reservations, park passes and road status yourself before you go.

Your content

You own what you add: trips, messages, photos and saved places. You give us permission to store and show it to your trip's crew (and to anyone with a public recap link if the owner creates one). Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal or abusive.

Secret spots

Secret spots are your content. Only share a place you have the right to share, and never one on private land without the owner's agreement. Don't share dangerous places, or sensitive places such as nesting sites, sacred sites or fragile habitats. Follow local rules and Leave No Trace. Anyone on the trip can report a spot, and we may hide or remove spots that break these rules.

Public plans

When you make a plan public, you give Wayfellow a free, worldwide license to show, copy and let other people use that plan's snapshot inside Wayfellow while it's published. Only publish what you have the right to share. No unlawful, hateful, sexual, spam or misleading content, and no private information about anyone (addresses, phone numbers, emails). We may hide or remove public plans, and limit or block accounts, that break these rules or are reported, without notice. Use the Report button on any plan to flag a problem.

Places you import

Only add places and links you're allowed to share. Wayfellow isn't affiliated with Google or Apple; Google Maps and Apple Maps are their trademarks. Place details we show come from OpenStreetMap contributors and may be out of date, so check before you go.

Shared costs

The Money tab is a calculator to help split costs. Wayfellow doesn't move money and isn't responsible for settling debts between friends.

The service

Wayfellow is in an early soft launch. Collaboration is free. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may limit heavy use (for example daily AI planning limits) to keep it running for everyone.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people.
